THE 2024 EDITION OF "LOMBARDIA U23"
Thirty-seven teams and 176 athletes ready to start, set to put on a show on Saturday, October 5th in Oggiono. These are the key figures for the international Il Lombardia Under 23, presented today in the Belvedere Hall of Palazzo Pirelli in Milan during the vernissage of the Trittico Lombardo.
At today's conference, representing the Velo Club Oggiono, were the president Daniele Fumagalli, vice president Marco Molteni, Silvia Fumagalli and Priscilla Molteni, members of the organizing committee, as well as the Mayor of Oggiono, Chiara Narciso, who expressed great appreciation for the support received from the Palazzo Pirelli Committee, led by the President of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana.
Unveiling the race together with patron Fumagalli was regional councilor Mauro Piazza, a true local from Lecco, a primary supporter of the Lombardia U23 and the surrounding territory.
"I would like to thank the Lombardy Region and President Fontana for giving us the opportunity to present our race in such a special and highly media-impactful setting like the Trittico Lombardo," said Fumagalli. "Their support has made the event even more important while also providing the opportunity to promote our territory."
